If, as a Traveler, you cancel your requested reservation by raising a ticket, if the Operator rejects your reservation request due to unavailability, it will automatically cancel any pre-authorization to your credit card and/or refund any nominal amount charged to your credit card in connection with the requested reservation within a commercially reasonable time (10-15 business days). You agree to pay MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL the deposit for any requested reservations in connection with your MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL account if such requested reservations are confirmed by the operator. Once your reservation is confirmed and you have received the acknowledgment of receipt by email, what you have paid is non-refundable. If cancellation is made within 31 days before departure, 100% of these costs will be forfeited. Cancellation of permits will result in the loss of 100% of the costs.
Neither MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL nor the operators selling their tours on www.myuniversetravel.net offer or pay any discount or refund for lost or unused services that were lost or unused by the traveler due to causes beyond the control of MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL, or the operators working with “MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL”, which shall include any termination of the traveler’s participation in the tour due to their fault, negligence or breach of these Terms.
All complaints from the traveler about their tour experience will be passed to the tour operator’s team for resolution. MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL is committed to working with tour operators to achieve a high level of service. However, if the tour operator’s response time and/or quality of response remains below acceptable time and quality despite us working together to rectify any issues, MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL reserves the right to remove the tour operator’s tour listings from MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL.com’s marketplace, affiliated websites, mobile apps and to remove any apps provided by us.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS BY OPERATORS.
If an operator cancels a confirmed booking made through the Services, MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL will refund any payment for such booking to the applicable traveler within a commercially reasonable time of cancellation and the traveler may receive an email or other communication from MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL containing alternative listings and other related information. If the traveler requests a booking from one of the alternative listings, it will be treated like a new group travel booking. If an operator canceled a confirmed booking and you, as the traveler, have not received an email or other communication from MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL, please contact MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL at gerencia@myuniversetravel.net.
CANCELLATION IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
Certain tours may be weather dependent. Notwithstanding the above, in the event of inclement weather, the operator has the discretion to decide whether weather conditions will prevent the tour from taking place. As the operator, if you need to cancel a group tour due to inclement weather, you should contact the traveler and MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL at info@myuniversetravel.net as soon as possible. With the traveler’s consent, the operator and the traveler may choose to reschedule the group tour for another date. If the Group Tour cannot be rescheduled, as the traveler, please contact MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL for assistance in finding a replacement Group Tour that is not weather dependent. For clarity, if the alternative Group Tour is priced higher than the previous Group Tour, you may be responsible for any price difference. If the alternate Group Tour is lower priced, you may be entitled to a partial refund of the difference. As a traveler, if you have contacted MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL as above and MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL is unable to find you a replacement Group Tour, MY UNIVERSE TRAVEL may refund payment for such booking to the traveler within a commercially reasonable time of cancellation.
